At 71 years old, rookie powerlifter Ray Fougnier is achieving amazing things: setting national records and sharing his experience at the international championship.


But the most moving part of Ray’s unique story is his mission to use his success to motivate other Native Americans to embrace fitness and a healthy lifestyle. With the vast health issues overwhelming Native communities, Ray hopes to be a role model for young Native Americans, encouraging them to get active and stay healthy.
